Standard Warranty

Standard Warranty – All Parts

Thank you for choosing Wellbuilt Axle & Driveline, a division of Weller Auto Parts, INC, for your automotive needs. We stand behind the quality of our parts and are committed to providing you with a reliable product. Please read our warranty policy carefully to understand your rights and obligations.

Coverage Duration: All parts sold by Wellbuilt Axle & Driveline and/or Weller Auto Parts, INC come with a standard 90-day warranty unless otherwise specified on your invoice. This warranty is limited in scope and should not be mistaken for an insurance policy.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover the following:

  1. Towing: We do not cover the cost of towing services.
  2. Loss of Time and Use: We do not compensate for any loss of time or the use of your vehicle.
  3. Inconvenience: Any inconvenience experienced due to part failure is not covered.
  4. Commercial Loss: We do not reimburse for commercial losses.
  5. Vehicle Rental: Expenses related to vehicle rentals are not covered.
  6. Consequential Damage: We do not cover any consequential damage resulting from part failure.

Non-Covered Parts: This warranty specifically excludes the following components:

  • Gaskets
  • Seals
  • Turbochargers and superchargers
  • Any other bolt-on parts not included in the sale

Installation Responsibility: We expect all parts to be installed with care and expertise. This warranty does not apply if the part failure is due to faulty, careless, or improper installation.

Inspection and Repairs: If you believe that a part covered under warranty is defective, please contact us. We reserve the right to inspect the defective product within a reasonable period of 2 business days before authorizing repairs. Depending on our evaluation, we may require the vehicle to be towed to our location for repairs, which will be conducted promptly and at no charge to you if the product is found to be defective*.

*Charges for Non-Warranty Cases: In situations where the product failure is related to any of the previously mentioned causes or is outside the scope of this warranty, you will be responsible for a fee equal to 75% of the published rate, in addition to any associated expenses such as towing.

Excluded Items: The warranty does not cover the following items:

  • Driveline internal parts purchased separately
  • Parts that have been misused, abused, altered, or used for a purpose other than their original intended use
  • All special order parts
  • Electrical parts
  • All used Brokered, Fleet, commercial, or recreational vehicles

3-Year/100,000 Mile Warranty – Remanufactured Axles

At Wellbuilt Axle & Driveline, we take pride in the quality and durability of our remanufactured axles. To back our commitment to excellence, we offer a comprehensive 3-Year/100,000 Mile Warranty. This warranty ensures your peace of mind, covering any issues that may arise during the first three years or up to 100,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the date of delivery.

Warranty Coverage: Under this warranty, Wellbuilt Axle & Driveline will promptly replace or repair your remanufactured axle at no cost to you, provided the following conditions are met:

  1. The part was originally purchased with this warranty explicitly included in the invoice.
  2. The part failure is not a result of faulty, careless, or improper installation, as we expect all parts to be professionally installed by a licensed repair facility.

Inspection and Repairs: If you suspect that a part covered by this warranty is defective, please get in touch with us. We reserve the right to inspect the defective product within a reasonable timeframe of 2 business days before authorizing any repairs. In some cases, we may require the vehicle to be towed to our location for repairs, which will be carried out promptly and at no charge to you if the product is indeed found to be defective.*

Labor Claims: All labor associated with warranty claims must be performed by a licensed repair facility. Prior authorization from the seller is required before commencing any work. Labor expenses will be determined based on the hours listed in the Mitchell flat rate schedule, at an approved rate not exceeding $75 per hour. Labor claims will be capped by the original purchase price of the component.
Towing: If you need towing coverage the warranty will cover up to $100.00
Rental Car: Rental car will be reimbursed up to $35.00 per day for a maximum of 5 days.
Freight: The warranty will cover up to $200.00 freight.

*Charges for Non-Warranty Cases: In situations where the product failure is related to any of the previously mentioned causes or is outside the scope of this warranty, you will be responsible for a fee equal to 75% of the published rate, in addition to any associated expenses such as towing.

Limitations and Exclusions Items: The warranty does not cover the following items:

  • Parts that have been misused, abused, altered, or used for a purpose other than their original intended use
  • All special order parts
  • Electrical parts
  • All used Brokered, Fleet, commercial, or recreational vehicles
  • Any other bolt-on parts not included in the sale
  • Warranty coverage is VOID if the vehicle has been altered or modified in any way from how the vehicle was originally equipped. Including but not limited to the following: tuners, EGR delete kits, exhaust, injectors, injection pump modifications, turbochargers, superchargers, performance clutches, and tire sizes that are different than what the vehicle was originally equipped with.
  • Receipts for rental cars and towing must be provided from a licensed commercial towing or rental business ONLY in order for reimbursement to be processed. Receipts for repair work order labor must be provided and must come from a licensed repair facility ONLY. Any receipts from any other type of business or automotive repair will void any reimbursement.
  • This warranty applies only to products sold, installed, and/or operated in the 48 contiguous states of the United States. If the customer’s vehicle fails and has been relocated out of the 48 contiguous states of the United States the warranty is void.
  • Weller Auto Parts, INC. and Wellbuilt Axle and Driveline will not be liable for death or injury to a person or damage to property; or any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of its products. Such damages include, but are not limited to damage to transmission, engine components or other associated parts, cost of capital, telephone, freight charges, sales tax on any parts or repairs, or any customer claims of damages.

12-Month/12,000 Mile Commercial Warranty

This warranty ensures your peace of mind, covering any issues that may arise during the first twelve months or up to 12,000 miles, whichever comes first, from the date of delivery.

Warranty Coverage: Under this warranty, Wellbuilt Axle & Driveline will promptly replace or repair your remanufactured axle at no cost to you, provided the following conditions are met:

1-Year Replacement Warranty

At Wellbuilt Axle & Driveline, we take pride in the quality and durability of our remanufactured axles, driveshafts, transfer cases, drivetrain parts, etc. To back our commitment to excellence, we offer a comprehensive 1-Year/Unlimited Mile Warranty. This warranty ensures your peace of mind, covering any issues that may arise during the first twelve months from the date of delivery.

Warranty Coverage: Under this warranty, Wellbuilt Axle & Driveline will promptly replace your covered part at no cost to you, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The part was originally purchased with this warranty explicitly included in the invoice.
  • The part failure is not a result of faulty, careless, or improper installation.
